Central Fort Bend Chamber Welcomes BlockHouse Coffee and Kitchen to the Community

BlockHouse Coffee and Kitchen held their Grand Opening for their beautiful new location in Richmond at 611 Jackson Street Suite C.  Guests arrived and were greeted by the wonderful aroma of coffee, and a warm smiling staff.

BlockHouse Coffee and Kitchen features specialty coffee and rotating selections from local bakers.
They offer Espresso drinks as well as made-to-order, pour-over coffee alongside a first class lineup of freshly roasted coffees, and a fine variety of loose-leaf teas.

Co-Founder, Aimee Frederick described BlockHouse Coffee and Kitchen, “Success is not to be recognized as trendsetters or considered another trendy coffeehouse. My vision is to be a platform for local craftsmen and an advocate for real connection in my community.”   Co-Founder Cody Frederick shared his excitement about opening in Richmond, “We love this property and the neighborhood.  The people we have met so far have been incredible!  We want to be the kind of business and property owners that help make the city better.  We are here to invest in Fort Bend County for the long haul.”
Partners, Brian and Marianne Alfaro who have over 18 years’ experience in the restaurant business share the same enthusiasm for the new coffee house.

Local artist Zach Lambert, created the beautiful wood accents that make the café so inviting.

BlockHouse has an amazing back yard where they plan to have activities, fundraisers and a play area for neighborhood children.
