The Infrastructure Committee strives to educate the community on today's infrastructure needs while advocating for proper infrastructure planning and implementation to improve the area's quality of life and promote economic growth.


To ensure the future of our community, we must support our business community by:

• Collaborating with our chamber members to understand their infrastructure needs and concerns.

• Advocating for our chamber members by serving as their "voice" on infrastructure issues, when appropriate, and by educating our Cities, Fort Bend County, and State and Federal Representatives and agencies on the needs of our community.

• Advocating for policies and regulations that promote strong economic growth.

• Advocating for local and regional infrastructure projects that include but are not limited to mobility (roads, trails, public transit, and rail), water supply and quality, and flood risk management that benefits our community.

• Collaborating and assisting our Cities and Fort Bend County in strategic planning.

To ensure the future of our community, we must educate our business community by:

• Collaborating with chamber members, community leaders, and civic organization to promote public outreach to educate the community on infrastructure projects and needs.

• Collaborating with other chamber committees to offer informational and educational programs to their membership and events.

• Hosting informative events with guest speakers related to current and future infrastructure projects and needs.

• Facilitating the Annual Fort Bend County Regional Infrastructure Conference.
